Mission Project: school supplies needed

  • Spiral notebooks
  • Pencils (regular or mechanical)
  • Pencil sharpeners
  • Erasers
  • Boxes of crayons or colored pencils
  • Small snacks (boxes of dried fruit, fruit snacks, individually wrapped hard candy – nothing that would melt)
  • Small Toys (small cars, super ball, small stuff animals, etc.)

Items need to be collected by Sunday, Nov. 8. You may drop your items off in the Wesley House baskets located at each entrance. For additional information, please contact Anna Noonoo.

Small Group discusses “The Shack”

TheShack

Where is God in tragedy? On Sunday, November 1, the Sunday Morning Small Group (hosted by Jeff & Sabrina Murphy) will begin a discussion series on The Shack by William P. Young.  Young’s Christian fiction novel of Mackenzie Philip’s is a poignant story of a grieving father who confronts God after the brutal loss of his child.

All are welcome to join us Sundays at 9:00 a.m. upstairs in the Upper Room. Even if you don’t have time to read the book, you can still join in on the discussion. For more info on the book visit: www.theshackbook.com.
