Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women (PW), is the national women’s organization of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Committed to nurturing faith, supporting the church’s mission, working for justice and building community, it is organized at all levels of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in congregations, presbyteries and synods as well as General Assembly. Deborah Circle
Deborah Circle meets on the first Monday of the month, except for June, July and August. They have bible study, prayer, fellowship and refreshments. In September the Deborah Circle hosts the Ruth Circle to a salad supper and bible study. Meetings are held in members’ homes or at the church on occasion.

A “Mission Activity” is planned for each month. Funds are collected for Safehouse, Hearts & Hammers and Mother-to-Mother, in addition to collecting needed items for The Center, Salvation Army and Safehouse. The Deborah Circle is involved in baking pies and working at Project Warmth, the Community Thanksgiving Dinner and Holy Week luncheons.

Within our church family the Deborah Circle prepares May baskets with cookies for our church shut-ins, in addition to supporting the Hat & Mitten Tree, preparing meals for bereavement dinners and giving pulpit flowers, Easter lilies and Christmas poinsettias. Deborah Circle participates in Blanket Sunday, Birthday Offering and Thank Offering.

The Deborah Circle is a busy group and they invite women of all ages to join them for fellowship, bible study and to worship God. Contact the church office for the next meeting time and location.

Ruth Circle
The Ruth Circle disbanded Dec. 2010.

World Service Sewing Circle
Presbyterian World Service Sewing Circle meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the Glass Room (upstairs) in the church. They meet every month except August.
